We own Navajo Mine
Navajo Transitional Energy Company, LLC, is a wholly owned limited liability company of the Navajo Nation that was authorized by the Navajo Nation to purchase Navajo Mine in 2013. Navajo Mine is located on the Navajo Nation, south of Farmington, New Mexico. The Navajo Mine currently supplies coal to the Four Corners Power Plant. Navajo Mine has provided coal to the Four Corners Power Plant for 50 years. BHP Billiton currently operates Navajo Mine on behalf of NTEC and Bisti Fuels Company, LLC, a subsidiary of North American Coal Corporation, will begin operations in 2017.
