We have an opening for General Counsel.


NTEC’s General Counsel will oversee all legal matters of the Company and serve as the primary legal advisor to the CEO, NTEC’s senior management team, and the NTEC Management Committee.  The GC will (1) be responsible for general legal matters of the Company; (2) be the Custodian of Corporate Records; (3) be the primary interface with the Company’s broker and the Navajo Nation on bond procurement and maintenance and insurance matters; (4) liaise with the NTEC Management Committee on preparation of Committee resolutions, minutes and records; (5) be responsible for regulatory and permit issues, in coordination with the Contract Miner and outside counsel, as appropriate; (6) work with the Governmental and External Affairs Director on tribal issues and media relations; (7) be the manager and fiduciary of the Company’s benefits programs; (8) carry out special projects as assigned by the CEO; (9) manage and coordinate activities of the Company’s outside counsel; and (10) perform other legal duties as assigned.

We have an opening for a Contract Attorney.


An acceptable candidate for NTEC’s Contract Attorney would be well versed in Mineral Law, Mining Contract Law and Banking Agreements Law. The ideal candidate would be the single point of contact in their law firm, not a team of attorneys from a law firm.
