Mission

• To be a reliable, safe producer of coal, while diversifying the Nations energy resources to create economic and environmental sustainability for the Navajo people.

Vision

• To develop and operate an energy company that values the Navajo Nation, its people, its resources, now and in the future.

Goals

• We will develop and manage safe, efficient, technology-driven, energy production with an emphasis low cost, coal mining operations;
• To develop and operate an energy company that is accountable to the Navajo government and the people

• To protect the Navajo People’s and Navajo Nation’s economic and financial best-interests related to mining
• To promote and develop the Navajo Nation’s resources and new sources of energy resources with regard to the Navajo Nation’s land, air, water, natural, and economic resources;
• To develop the economic, financial, social, and cultural well-being of the Navajo People, the Navajo Nation, and its future generations through the development of its energy portfolio and market.
• To act as an arm of the Navajo Nation with accountability to the Navajo People and the Navajo Nation.
